Updating nameservers with GoDaddy

This article will show you have to update your nameservers if you have purchased your domain separately through GoDaddy. Clients are required to update their nameserver records once so that their domain(s) reflect our servers.

  1. Visit godaddy's website at GoDaddy.com
  2. Log into your account by using the form located at the very top of the page.
  3. After successfully logging in click "domain manager" under the "My Products" tab.
  4. Click on the domain that you would like to edit nameservers for.
  5. Under "nameservers" click one of the links below highlighted in blue.
  6. A pop-up should appear, click "Custom Nameservers" (if not already set) and edit the nameservers provided to you when you registered for your hosting account.
  7. Click "ok"
  8. Nameserver changes can take up to 48 hours to take effect (but usually in less time).

If you are having any difficulty you may contact us by opening a support ticket.
